These cups were made for the Bittersweet exhibition for the purpose of drinking hot cocoa.
All cups were made of porcelain clay on the potter’s wheel. They were finished and dried, then fired to 1800’ in an electric kiln. Each cup was dipped into a single coat of clear gaze; then fired to 2300’ in a gas-fired kiln. Cups are dishwasher and microwave safe.
