Vijay Batavia is a finance executive with 15+ years of experience in the areas of operations, risks management, accounting, and auditing across many industries including Investment Management, Mortgage, Not-For-Profit, servicing a wide range of clientele, from some of the world’s largest asset managers, universities, foundations, high net worth individual to family-owned operations. He is working with J. P. Morgan Chase in Boston, as a vice-president in the Digital Platform Services, his prior work experience includes positions with Deloitte, Home Capital Group, and Perelson Winer LLP in various capacities. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst. 

He has been volunteering with the Somerville Museum since 2020 and believes in raising awareness & appreciation of history, culture, and art in this digital age of social media, big data, artificial intelligence, and blockchain.
