Voices from Somerville’s Brazilian Community
Come and hear members of the local Brazilian community talk about their work in Somerville’s neighborhoods! Panelists include the co-founder of the Brazilian Women’s Group, now celebrating its 25th year serving the Boston area; a community health worker who is also a celebrity chef; a leader from The Brazilian Times, a national publication based in Somerville since 1987; and a business owner who has served the city for 14 years. Following the panel, listen to a historian from Somerville discuss connections between Brazilian and U.S. history!
