Eeeek! The new reception desk is being installed this week! This might be the most exciting week yet for the Museum staff and front desk volunteers. See below for some update images. Teams are also on site finalizing the painting, flooring, and the installation of the exterior oculus window. The elevator subcontractor, Galaventa, is almost complete with their work and will be scheduling the required state inspection. Our final completion date is dependent on this inspection so we’re hoping it happens very soon. We’re all very eager to move our operations back to the main reception area.
In other news, we’ve been finalizing and promoting related programming events for Bittersweet as we gear up for Valentine’s Day. We’ve never been more excited for this holiday than this year. With a project like Bittersweet installed, we all have hope for a sweeter winter.
