You may have noticed that we took a little hiatus from posting these past couple of weeks as we were busy installing our two current exhibitions. But we’ll talk more about those below. Meanwhile, we have been so busy with additional details involved with the renovation. Including, finalizing interior signage (both required and donor signage), flooring and paint for the main galleries, and finding a contractor to renovate the gardens. We’ve also been working on an application to the Historic Preservation Commission to approve items like light upkeep for the Bulfinch staircase, a new outdoor fence, painting the Central Street doors, and more. We’re planning to have a big reopening celebration event for our donors in October but would like to have all these items completed before then. If you want an invite to this big event and haven’t donated yet, be sure to donate today!
Besides fundraising and coordinating renovation and design details, we’re also working on an active exhibition and events schedule. See below for upcoming events, which are all listed on our website calendar and social media pages.
