Have you walked by the Museum lately? If so, you’ve probably noticed that it’s starting to look a bit different. The framing for the elevator shaft is really taking shape this week and looking great! We also met with a local signage company to review required and decorative signage items. We’ll be installing signs at rooms that will comply with ADA regulations (i.e. room signage with braille). We’re also working on the aesthetic of exterior and interior signage and we’re excited about it all coming together!

Meanwhile, Penny Chronicles and the Stories They Tell, is also making a lot of progress. Most of the walls in the main gallery are now installed with vintage postcards, artifacts, and text. This exhibition opens on Thursday, September 9th. Open hours will be from 2-7p.m. with an intimate opening reception from 6-8p.m. Tickets can be purchased online or at the Museum; Museum members are free.
