The Somerville Museum, which opened in the mid-1920’s, has seen many challenges over the years and has always found a way to persevere. However, as a non-profit, mostly volunteer-run organization, we couldn’t do this without our members and donors. On average, it costs $70/week for electricity, $20/week for the alarm system, $15/week for internet and website as well as other utilities necessary to keep the Museum running. There are many ways you can help. Renew your membership if you haven’t already, purchase a gift membership for a friend, neighbor or relative. Donations are always welcome and below are a list of our weekly expenses. Your continued support means everything and we simply couldn’t do what we do without you.
